Albanchez de Mágina (Jaén): Adaptability to an Existing Network
For the project in this Jaén municipality, Orthem used 1,000 units of Hidroconta’s Iris 3COM communication module. The technical objective was to digitalize a meter park with a notable diversity of models and ages.
The modules were connected to the wide range of meters already operating in the network:
- Atlantis residential meters in DN 13 and 20.
- Larger caliber models such as the Tritón DN 25, MFSM-L DN 32, and DN 40.
- Predator large-diameter DN 50 meters.
The product’s compatibility facilitated the project execution for Orthem, allowing the integration of remote reading without requiring a complete replacement of the meter park.
Campotéjar (Granada): NB-IoT Connectivity for Remote Reading
In this locality in Granada, Orthem installed 648 units of the Iris module with NB-IoT connectivity. This equipment was primarily connected to Atlantis DN 15 mm meters, a technical solution geared towards detailed consumption control in the residential sector.
Dmeter 360: The Nerve Center for Information
All the power of the hardware deployed in the field makes sense thanks to our Dmeter 360 software platform. Data from both Albanchez de Mágina and Campotéjar are sent to and processed by this tool, which offers Orthem’s management team a complete, real-time overview of what is happening in the network.
With Dmeter 360, the network operator can:
